mapping processes; gathering data; cause and effect diagrams; pareto analysis;run charts; control charts.

The course is intended for managers and staff who wish to improve the performance of their organisation in delivering customer satisfaction.

Short introductory lectures addressing the most frequently asked questions: What is a process? Why should I concentrate on improving my processes? What are the costs and benefits of continual process improvement?

The Phased Approach to Continual Process Improvement

A series of short lectures interspersed with practical sessions, working in teams, identifying and using the techniques necessary to:

  • Identify the problem
  • Analyse the cause(s) of the problem
  • dentify appropriate corrective actions
  • Implement corrective actions
  • Verify and monitor improvement activity
