Retirement of Alex Gallagher

Alex Gallagher has retired after more than ten years as our Associate. Alex had considerable experience in many aspects of quality having provided consultancy for a large range of companies over the years. He managed the ISO registration programmes for IBM UK and took the company through the company-wide registration of all IBM UK sites to BS5750 PART1/ISO9001 and to TickIT. This registration covered 45 sites, with 17,500 employees.

Alex was the Lead Assessor for the Quality Scotland Foundation Award since its inception in 1994. He also trained many auditors both in the UK, USA, Far East and various European countries. Alex is now exceedingly busy as a Councillor on North Ayrshire Council who will benefit greatly from his wise counsel.
